The University of Phoenix will continue to add on-site campuses and learning centers throughout the United States and Canada. “New locations are selected based on an analysis of various factors, including the population of working adults in the area, the number of local employers and their educational reimbursement policies, and the availability of similar programs offered by othe institutions” (Pearce & Robinson, Case 45). It is the belief of the University of Phoenix that the services that it can offer in the international market would be a major growth opportunity for international expansion. Tradionally, international students that study abroad come to the United States. Studying abroad would not be convenient for students that cannot leave their jobs to do so. This creates another plus for the University of Phoenix. Adult students can still get the same U.S. education without having to leave their employment, incur high travel and living cost, and worry about stringent visa requirements. This would also be an advantange to those United States adult residents that live and work in a foreign country. They can continue or begin the educational career with the University of Phoenix. Another strategy that would be advantagous to the University of Phoenix would be to expand its campus and online services. The University of Phoenix
