Should abortion be considered illegal? Abortion has been a method since at least ancient history. Abortion is the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy, most often performed during the first 22 weeks of pregnancy. There are multiple ways a woman can have an abortion, but the one most commonly used is the suction abortion. The suction dismembers the baby while sucking their body parts through a tube. Should abortion be considered illegal? I feel strongly that abortion should be illegal because it can result in medical complications/psychological trauma, the fetus can feel pain, and abortion is murder. First, I feel that abortion should be illegal because it can result to medical complications and psychological trauma. Abortions can cause premature birth or even cause a baby to be handicapped in future pregnancies. A woman who has had an abortion is 2.3 times more likely to get cervical, ovarian, and or liver cancer. Abortion can cause depression for at least five years after the procedure. The depression may increase during the anniversaries of the abortion or the due date of the child. Depression can also lead to suicide. Woman are 154% more likely in killing themselves after having an abortion. Studies have shown that the common cause of death in women after an abortion is suicide.…
