Knowledgeable and well trained employees are needed in every organization. It is important employees are able to perform all the tasks needed in order to reach the organizations needs and achieve the set goals. As times change, employees may stay behind in skills or may even lack training when it comes to new systems, technology or other procedures that the company may need in order to better performance. Training benefits both, organization and employees for a long period. Training enhances a worker level of skills. It provides a sense of satisfaction to the employee and multi skill employees to the organization. Training increases an employee commitment to their job and their organization, not to mention that better understanding of jobs, reduce accidents, which in turn help reduce organization’s costs (DeCenzo & Robbins, 2007). Organizational development takes into consideration how the organization and its constituents or employees function together. Organizational development places emphasis on the human factors and data inherent in the organization-employee relationship. Organizational development strategies can be used to help employees become more committed and more adaptable, which ultimately improves the organization as a whole ("Organizational Development", 2012). When employees feel the organization meets their needs, the employees will in turn give loyalty and work more effectively to make the organization a success. The source of all productive effort in organizations is the people. Organizational effectiveness depends on the performance of people working in organizations. Better people achieve better results. As a part of human resource management, every organization should acquire and retain skilled, competent, and motivated employees, because the full potential of human resources needs to be achieved for the growth of the organization.
