Abortion is a highly controversial topic because its frequency of occurrence, legal, cultural and religious status varies extensively in different regions of the world. An abortion is terminating a pregnancy by the removal or expelling of a fetus or embryo from the uterus of the female. This is sometimes due to the death of the fetus; however, it can also result in the death of it. During the research I was able to find some very pertinent information pertaining to which side of abortion you choose to pursue. For instance in the early 1970’s women demanded lawmakers to legalize abortion as part of the women’s rights movement.
Today the entire terrain of the abortion debate has been shifted. For more than a decade, the right to abortion has been steadily eroded, so that now the unwanted pregnancy could be terminated at the choice of the woman. When you hear the word ABORTION it can erupt into a very deep and intellectual conversation but it depends in which the context it is used. Abortion means that a human life has been killed in my personal opinion. Some say when does life in fact truly begin? Life begins at the point in which the egg and the sperm unite to become a process of forming a human body.
Thirty-seven states do not provide funding for poor women to have an abortion. And thirty two of the thirty seven states won’t even fund abortions for poor who become pregnant as a result of a rape, incest or even in cases of the unborn child having the…
